Come learn about the latest tools available to us for researching our ancestors! 
Tomorrow we will have instruction for indexing, finding records and also a class for beginners who want access to family search for the first time.  

January 30^th at 6:30!  R.S. Sisters, Young Men and Young Women are invited! 

22nd Ward Relief Society Activity for January is Learning how to do use the New Family Search website for Genealogy/Temple Ready.  It will be held on January 30 at 6:30 PM.  Bring your laptop-if you have one.  If you already have a New Family Search username/password bring those.  If you don't, and want to set up an account, you will need to have your confirmation date.  We will have a few extra laptops for folks to use.  This will be a combined activity with the Young Women.  Thanks to our Teacher's Quorum for teaching us how to use this program :-)

Hey 22nd Ward Sisters! Next week's relief society lesson is Chapter 21 in the George Albert Smith manual and is entitled "The Power of Kindness." The subtitle of the lesson is, "By being kind and patient, we can soften hearts and encourage others to live righteously." I thought this would be a great opportunity for our relief society group to experience the power of kindness. I am starting this th

read for that very purpose - to give everyone the chance to express kind words to each other and feel the difference sincere kindness can make. ALL sisters are encouraged to participate (including those whose circumstances may not allow them to attend Relief Society on Sundays). I'll take some time during the lesson next week to read aloud some or all of these posts. So here we go!

To all 22nd Ward Relief Society sisters: This Sunday's lesson is chapter 19 in the George Albert Smith manual, beginning on page 201. It is entitled, "Temporal and Spiritual Blessings from the Word of Wisdom." Please take some time this week to read it as well as section 89 in the Doctrine and Covenants and come prepared to have a great discussion regarding this very important revelation!
